Your journey through history begins as you are driven in comfort and style to the Arizona Memorial Visitor Center. You will be treated to a film about the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor including actual footage from that fateful day. After browsing the historical artifacts board the Navy Launch for the short ride to the Arizona Memorial, built over the sunken remains of the USS Arizona. You will be able to pay your respects and honor the 1,177 sailors and marines who lost their lives that day.
Continuing on your adventure you will enjoy an audio guided tour of one of the world’s most famous submarines, the USS Bowfin. The Bowfin is also known as the “Pearl Harbor Avenger” for the instrumental role it played the in epic Pacific battles of WWII. Then you will head over to the Pacific Aviation Museum, where you will be transported back in time in order to learn about the great aviation heroes throughout history.
Wrapping up your heroes’ adventure tour is a special guided tour of the Navy’s last and most famous battleship, the USS Missouri. Pearl Harbor Visitor Center
Your Arizona Memorial experience includes a stop at visitor center. View an excellent film documenting the attack on Pearl Harbor, with actual footage. Spend time browsing through informative displays and learn more about the events that shaped American history and took place here so many decades ago. There are snack areas and food vendors where you can grab a bite to eat and relax.
USS Arizona Memorial
Climb aboard a US Navy launch ship for a short ride to the memorial itself, which is part of the WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument. The memorial built over the remains of the USS Arizona Memorial itself will allow you to honor and reflect on the heroes of that “Day of Infamy” You can read the names of all 1,177 sailors and marines who were killed on December 7, 1941.
USS Battleship Missouri
Your next stop on your Pearl Harbor Adventure is a one-hour guided tour of the USS Missouri, the last battleship built by the US Navy. Commissioned in 1944, and affectionately referred to as "Mighty Mo”, she earned 11 Battle Stars during her tour of duty. Walk the decks and stand on the exact spot where on September 2, 1945, Japan surrendered. In all, you’ll spend approximately 4.5 hours at Pearl Harbor.
An interactive tour guides you through the history of the U.S.S. Bowfin. Dubbed the "Pearl Harbor Avenger". This famous submarine was launched exactly one year after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Pacific Aviation Museum
This family friendly venue is located in a 1930’s era hanger on Ford Island and presents classic and rare WWII American and Japanese airplanes. Begin your Hawaiian aerial adventure in the Control Tower, then move on to Hangar 37 to watch a film of the December 7, 1941 attack with some original still photography. Explore the exhibit area and experience history through dioramas with aircraft and artifacts from the Pacific Theater from WWII. Visit Hangar 79 where you will clearly see the scars of war; shrapnel marks on concrete walls and bullet holes on the hangar doors from the Japanese strafing runs.

Please proceed to the Hawaiian Airlines ticket counter to check in for your flight to Oahu. Check in at 5:30 am at the Kahului Airport (Hawaiian Airlines counter). Approximate return from Oahu to Maui is about 7:45 pm. Flight schedules change frequently so please contact us to 24 hours prior to confirm time and place of check in or pick up.
The US Department of the Interior has declared a "no bags" policy at the Arizona Memorial and Visitor Center. Passengers may not carry any concealing items. This includes purses, handbags, backpacks, diaper bags, etc. Bag storage is available at the entrance to the Visitor Center for a $3 fee per bag fee. Small cameras are permitted. Allowable vital items may be placed in your pockets. Do not leave any valuables on the coach.
