This dive and snorkel excursion is ideal for late risers!  Join us for an afternoon of snorkeling and diving aboard the Maka Koa.  This is a great way for snorkelers and divers to enjoy their underwater adventure together!

Our destination is Turtle Point, an ideal location for snorkeling and diving.  This area has the second longest, continuous reef on Maui and the Hawaiian Honu (green sea turtles) frequent this area.  It is referred to as a turtle cleaning station.  The turtles will rest on the sand bottom and the small fish will eat the algae off their shells. Watch these protected creatures, from a safe distance, as they rest on the bottom or they glide gently over the colorful beds of coral.  Please note, the destination is always based on wind and sea conditions.

If you're not certified, you can join one of our instructor’s for a 1 tank Introductory Discover Scuba Dive.  Our experienced instructors will teach you the basic skills. The instructor will introduce the equipment you will use, teach basic safe diving practices, and provide a fascinating marine life briefing. You will practice and become comfortable breathing underwater before setting off on an exciting tour of the reef with your instructor’s expert guidance.

Between the end of December and the end of April this trip affords a great opportunity to see humpback whales in the waters surrounding Maui which is a National Marine Sanctuary for these endangered whales.
